ANOTHER WEEK COMES TO AN END … FORGO TABLETS IF YOU MUST …

I AM quite tired. There is something else I need to do tonight – but I will postpone that until tomorrow.
This week was quite tough – including the case of me searching for quietness without success. (But I did manage to get that little urgent task done.)

I thought I should take a Panadol tablet for my head – feeling a bit funny there - but then … just drinking water and having enough rest should help.
Had a look at my cupboard this morning while looking for a Panadol tablet and I could not find any – so I decided not to bother about tablets.
However, I found a lot of artesunate and antibiotic tablets in the cupboard, stuff I have not used for some time. In a way, that is good, let the natural immune system do its work.
If it can’t then, try some medication.
(My medication for flu in the last few weeks? Drink water, eat fruits and do physical exercises as well as getting enough rest.)

Did you notice that the month of February ends next week on Friday (the month has 28 days)?
Ten more months in the year and heaps of goals to achieve – I hope you have your own too.
Well for now, let me wish you all a nice, safe and productive weekend.
Bon week-end.

ANOTHER WEEKEND’S COMING UP … THINKING ABOUT ROUTINES …

YES, another weekend’s coming up.
We just started another week, and it is gone.
I hope the best for you all this weekend.

I have one little thing to complete this weekend – an extra assignment, no not work but something to do with my personal interests.

Next weekend, I have booked my time for my nieces and nephews – some extra tutorial for them to see where they are with the basic skills in Maths and English.
Following that, I will have to prepare some work for them and teach them “routines” – something that is important and yet many students over the years do not master.

I am aware that in the military (or disciplined forces), “routines” are paramount.
Tasks that are done systematically, methodically and with great ease really come from developing a set routine over time.
Champion athletes also squeeze in some of those into their preparation plans.

Well, as I always say – be safe and be healthy over the weekend.
Do not use the weekend wearing yourself out that when Monday comes, you wished it was Friday.
And for students and professionals, do get your homework done before you go out for leisure activities.
So long.
Bon week-end.
(PS. I will try to pen a poem for the week and post on Sunday.)

POLICE MINISTER WANTS OFFICERS TO LEARN FRENCH …

AN interesting piece of news was in the media today. PNG’s Police Minister Nixon Duban has sought help from the French Ambassador to PNG, Pascal Maubert, to train his officers in the language.

Mr Maubert said they depended on New Caledonia for resources.
He said he would try to arrange with New Caledonia to send a teacher to help with teaching the language in PNG.
At the moment there is only one tutor at the University of PNG, where French is offered.

POEM OF THE WEEK: WHY LOOK OUT TO SEA?

Sorry, my apologies.

I was late in posting the poem for last week.

I penned this based on something I heard from a TV programme over the weekend.

That concept is in the first verse.

WHY LOOK OUT TO SEA? By TH

Why look out to sea?

What is there to see?

He’s looking for war

He is a warrior

Why look out to sea?

Way past the tamano tree

She’s searching for words

She is a young poet

Why look out to sea?

With a smile, a glee

Of the past he thinks

And a good thought sinks

Why look out to sea?

You are asking me?

I’m waiting for a song

I’ve this feeling strong

It will come today

Did not yesterday

And when it comes

It will be like the drums

I will know it’s time

Words shall just rhyme

The tune will be clear

And it will become dear
