I HAVE
mentioned to a few people today that one of my aims this year (2014) is to learn
computer coding – or, writing computer programmes.
A brother told me to learn the Java language
first - and not C.
I read a bit yesterday and understood that
many useful programmes, including the Android operating system, is programmed
in Java (as well as C and C++).
Today, I visited the Khan Academy website and
tried some of their lessons. And, I am excited.
I will keep you updated on my lessons.
(NB: I did a bit of computer programming in
BASIC and Pascal a long time ago.)
