ARTS FESTIVAL SET FOR NEXT YEAR

The MELANESIAN ARTS FESTIVAL is set for next year (2014) here in PNG.
It will be an interesting time for visitors who would like to see a bit of the diverse culture of PNG (and its neighbours, Solomon Is, Vanuatu, Fiji and New Caledonia) on show in the form of traditional dances and other activities.
I will get more information and post that for those interested.

DO NOT LIVE TO REGRET …

DO NOT LIVE TO REGRET …
Many people talk about regretting a certain choice in life because of something they did earlier. I urge you not to be like that. Make the right choices to avoid regretting later.
Now, if by chance you mess up by your own wrong decision-making, learn to live with the consequences but plan to make better choices in the future.
Like I always say: “As long as you’re breathing there is hope to come out of any bad situation and reach for the skies.”
You must believe that and live like you believe that.

EASTER AND REST …

EASTER AND REST …
Easter weekend is coming up. I hope you all have a nice rest this season, which means listening to sermons and being with family and friends. Your body needs that. I need that too after falling ill over the weekend from overworking a bit too much.
I am recovering though and am looking forward to the short holiday.
Cheers.

ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE PLANNING INTERESTING THINGS

ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE PLANNING INTERESTING THINGS …
The group that teaches people French in Port Moresby had its second board meeting last Friday evening.
It is planning interesting things for people learning French and learning a bit about French culture. There are two French women on the board and it looks good. One teaches French to Ela Murray School students.
I think this year would be interesting … and I will keep you informed.
As last year, the Alliance has a once-a-month French movie. I will keep you informed on that also.
