STORIES: HOMELESS STUDENTS WHO EXCEL IN SCHOOL

I WAS looking through news stories early this week for a section in our paper when I chanced upon two inspiring stories that I shared with my friends in other groups.
One is about a janitor who happens to be a straight-A student. No, she is not an old person learning in school. Rather, it is a teenager in school, but due to her living without her parents, she took up the janitor’s job in her school to sustain herself. She is Dawn Loggins, 18, and will soon be attending one of the top universities in the US.

The other story is about another homeless 17-year-old girl Chelsea Fearce who topped her graduating class.
