PICTURE OF THE MAIN ARENA FROM OTHER SIDE

HELLOW everybody.
On Friday, I took some pictures from the main arena where the 5TH MELANESIAN FESTIVAL OF ARTS AND CULTURE will be staged.
Today I decided to take pictures in the opposite direction – from Waigani Drive back towards the National Parliament, where the festival would be staged.

I did not mention on Friday that the houses on the hills in the west (towards Tokara) of the National Parliament were the houses constructed in 1991 to accommodate athletes and officials who attended/participated in the 1991 IX South Pacific Games.
The place is now called the Games Village Police Barracks.
The pictures I took today were taken next to the Games Village Barracks.

Photo: The view back to the main arena. You notice the thatched houses in front of the Parliament House at the back? The PNG flag is on Independence Hill and the PNG Museum is to the left.

Photo: My cab driver waiting along Waigani Dr. In the background on the other side of the road is the Games Village Police Barracks.
